Elizabeth Spencer is an associate at Hurley Burish, S.C. where she assists businesses and individuals in transactional matters. Originally joining the firm as a law clerk in 2016, Elizabeth assisted in a wide range of legal matters including compliance with employment laws, protecting trade secrets, revising employment handbooks, drafting leases and purchase agreements, amending partnership agreements, and trademark issues. While in law school Elizabeth took extensive course work in estate planning, was a clinical student with the Frank J. Remington Center’s Legal Assistance to Institutionalized Persons Project providing legal aid to Wisconsin inmates, and a member of the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society.
