April A. Anello joined Hurley Burish in 2024, focusing her work on criminal defense. Prior to joining the firm, April gained experience at the Office of Legal Counsel for the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families facilitating Rehabilitation Reviews, and completed her school internship assisting with pardons and expungements at Legal Action of Wisconsin. April is fluent in French, and has an undergraduate degree in French from UW-Madison, as well as a paralegal certificate from Madison College. April is also a member of the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin (PAW).
