Jennifer E. Recktenwald is an attorney at Hurley Burish, focusing on criminal defense and civil litigation.
Jennifer received her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, during which she provided legal assistance for the Wisconsin Federal Defender’s Office, the Brooklyn Defender Services (New York), and the Wisconsin Criminal Appeals Project.
Before joining Hurley Burish, Jennifer worked as an attorney at Foster Graham Milstein & Calisher, LLP in Denver, Colorado, where she represented clients in both criminal and civil matters. Jennifer started her career as an attorney at the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender in the Denver metro area representing indigent clients in Colorado.
Jennifer is a double Badger, completing both undergraduate and law school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. When not practicing law, Jennifer enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family, and supporting her favorite sports teams – the Wisconsin Badgers and the Buffalo Bills.
