Cricket Beeson received her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, during which she provided legal assistance for the Oxford Federal Project and the Federal Defender’s office. She also served as senior managing editor of the Wisconsin Law Review.
Before joining Hurley Burish, Cricket was an Assistant Corporation Counsel for Dane County. In this position, she handled litigation and provided legal assistance for multiple Departments in the County, including Land and Water Resources, Public Health of Madison and Dane County, the Behavioral Health Resource Center, the Office of Energy and Climate Change, Dane Arts, and the County Treasurer. She also served on the Behavioral Health Committee for the Criminal Justice Council.
Originally from Colorado, Cricket is an avid skier and hiker, and enjoys exploring new areas of Madison with her dog, Khaleesi. Cricket earned her BA in Art History at Fordham University in New York City, and an MA in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London.
