I launched my mediation practice to assist colleagues and their clients in resolving complex business disputes, business breakups, construction and property damage cases, business tort cases, probate and trust disputes, and other sticky civil disputes that do not involve a marital asset disclosure or personal injury (OK, maybe bar fights, nasty neighbor conflicts, or some such drama in need of a solution). I am continuing my litigation practice as well.
Having counseled and advocated in these areas for 28 years, I bring an experienced, personable, and empathetic approach to mediation. I listen closely, as communication and information are keys to unlocking the solution to seemingly intractable civil entanglements. Your clients can expect a healthy dose of realism, delivered with a constructive optimism. Our goal is to put expensive, aggravating problems in the rearview, so your clients can focus their time, treasure, and energy on the things that they enjoy, look forward to, and earn their living.
In pursuing this endeavor, I am pleased and proud to enjoy endorsements from Mike Crooks, the Honorable Patrick Fiedler (Ret.), the Honorable Richard Niess (Ret.), and the Honorable Maryann Sumi (Ret.), some of the finest mediators with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working.
