Delaney grew up in a small rural town in Wisconsin, just north of Madison, and is a proud Double Badger, having earned both her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. During law school, Delaney served as a student attorney for the Eviction Defense Clinic, where she assisted vulnerable individuals in remaining in their homes. She also served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society. Additionally, she served as the student liaison for the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Wisconsin State Bar, helping to foster connections between law students and practitioners in the field. Throughout her second and third year of law school, Delaney worked part time at law firms, gaining valuable hands-on experience in legal practice alongside her academic and clinical commitments.
