On December 21, 2016, as President of the Van Wie Foundation Atty John C Mitby and Board member Bruce Rogers, Ed Terry and John Van Wie, were recognized for their $50,000 contribution to Wis. Dells River Arts District. Wisconsin Dells Mayor Brian Landers accepted the gift on behalf of the City. The Mayor praised the Foundation Board for its support. The gift will greatly help the City to establish an inaugural area for arts and entertainment to improve the City’s downtown.
