Yvonne A. Geerts supports the attorneys in all facets of criminal and civil litigation. Prior to joining Hurley Burish, she was an intake specialist for the Wisconsin Innocence Project’s Latino Exoneration Program at the University of Wisconsin Law School. In 2017, alongside her law school colleagues, she was a recipient of the State Bar’s Legal Innovator award. She is fluent in Spanish and a State Bar Certified Paralegal with an undergraduate degree from UW-Madison and paralegal certificate from Madison College. As a huge proponent of continuing education, she recently completed a certificate in forensic accounting and internal auditing. She really loves a good spreadsheet.
