Saperstein’s client was pulled over for speeding 20 mph over the posted limit near his home in Verona. After performing field sobriety tests he was arrested. His blood was taken approximately 1 1/2 hours later, registering a .096 blood alcohol concentration. Through cross examination of the County’s witnesses, including the arresting officer and the blood analyst, Attorney Saperstein was able to successfully argue that his client was not impaired, and had a blood alcohol concentration below .08 at the time of driving. The jury acquitted.
